RoHS compliance

RoHS stands for the "Restriction Of certain Hazardardous Substances" in electrical and electronic equipment. As of the 1^st July 2006, RoHS has become a new directive of the European Union and a part of the global movement towards a greener future.

Tytronics has recognised the importance in extending our product line to developing products that are RoHS compliant.

In order to be classified as RoHS compliant, the following substances are restricted:

Lead (Pb)
Mercury (Hg)
Cadmium (Cd)
Hexavalent Chromium (Cr(VI))
Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)
Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE)
